The numerous flats and shallow bays along each side of the Eleuthera provide easy access, making it ideal for experienced and novice bonefishers. However should you wish to reach some of the islands more remote locations then its suggested that you rent a jeep so you can go off road. The Caribbean tide runs two hours behind the Atlantic, this provides anglers with the unique experience of fishing the prime tide twice. The size of bonefish can vary greatly in Eleuthera, you may come across 1 to 10 lb bonefish.
Like most islands in the Bahamas there are no fly shops on Eleuthera so ensure you bring your own fishing gear with you. Bonefish Graham from England has been bonefishing on Eleuthera and staying at Rainbow Inn since he “discovered” it in 1995. He enjoyed it so much that he has been hosting his famous “Bonefish Adventure Holidays” here ever since! We are pleased that Graham has chosen to continue hosting his Bonefishing Adventures at Rainbow Inn. For more information about bonefishing check out Bonefish Graham’s Rainbow Guide
